Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a high molecular cationic flocculant, copolymerized from acrylamide and cationic monomers. As a water-soluble polymer, it neutralizes negatively charged colloidal particles in water and promotes their coagulation and sedimentation through charge neutralization and adsorption bridging. It features functions such as flocculation, sedimentation, sludge dewatering and clarification.

It is widely used in municipal sewage, industrial wastewater treatment (sludge dewatering and thickening), papermaking, mineral processing, oilfield exploitation and other fields.
